I will be riding in the American Cancer Society Bike-A-Thon again this year. Again it effects me personally this year so I will be riding to raise money to fight cancer.

Picture of me before my 6.6 mile practice ride today with bobblebums.com jersey. Riding my Fuji Mountain bike because of the stones on the road where I ride... plus it makes me work harder than my road bike.

I think it is an awesome thing you are doing with riding to help raise awareness and donations for the American Cancer Society. Donations in every amount, even if they are small, add up and help.

Families that have lost loved ones to cancer know how devistating cancer is and know that they wouldnt want anyone else to go though that pain so making a slight donation helps those families that have a member battling cancer now.

I see how much time and attention you put in to this site and i can see you are doing the same for your bike ride. this is a great accomplishment.

and of course your bike jersey is totally awesome!

i wish you all the luck in the world. laugh.gif

Yesterdays 10 mile practice ride was an adventure.. started out warm very sunny nice day.. 5 miles into ride the weather started changing bad... here are some pictures.

This was after 5 miles and my turn around on the ride. Nice quick pic of a plane taking off, weather started changing and a quick drink.

This was about a mile later... see the change? No other pictures after this because it changed to lightning, rain, hail and heavy head winds.. I got soaked along with my Blackberry Storm and everything else on my person. The remainder of the ride was a nightmare.. but I completed it, not like I could stop back here...lol

Just giving an update and reaching out.. The ride is coming up fast on 7/12/2009 if you were thinking about giving please hurry less than two weeks left. Every little bit counts and you can help keep bobblebums.com as one of the top donators.

I went out and dug deep tonight and rode 26 miles after a long days work... feeling good afterwards..

Was a great day. 56.1 miles in under 4 hours with the rest stops between. No extra stops, 0 flat tires, nobody ran over my bike this year. Beautiful day.
